Auction Context

Put competition and demand alongside your performance.

Read the signals

Timeline can show Auction Pressure, Competition Index, and Search Demand alongside your KPI. Use them to ask whether a performance shift coincided with different auction conditions. These signals use their own scale; they are not spend, conversions, or revenue.

Check coverage first

Look at the report period, account scope, and latest available data. A weekly report describes that week; it does not supply a separate observation for every day. Missing coverage should not be read as no competition.

Auction Insights availability depends on the source and account access. Use the setup or import options shown in your account. The demo’s auction signals are illustrative.

Compare with a purpose

  • If CPC rose, check competition alongside clicks, conversions, and recent bid changes.
  • If volume fell, review available demand context alongside targeting, budgets, and campaign status.
  • Use Isolate when you need a clearer view of the selected auction signals.

Keep the conclusion measured

A matching trend adds context. It does not identify the sole cause of a performance change, and your impressions alone do not measure total market demand. Read the definition and source shown for each signal before using it in a client report.
