Change history and imports
Read available account changes and add older history.
What the Change Log shows
| Category | Typical changes |
|---|---|
| Budget | Budget amounts and budget assignments. |
| Bid | Bids, targets, modifiers, and bid strategy switches. |
| Keyword / Negative | Keyword edits and negative keyword changes. |
| Creative | Ad copy, creative assets, and ad status. |
| Targeting | Audience, location, device, and schedule settings. |
| Launch / Pause | Campaign creation and campaign pauses. |
Read the details for the actual action. A bid strategy switch is different from a target change. A campaign being created does not mean it has started serving.
How far back the history goes
Google’s ChangeEvent API retrieves changes from the past 30 days and does not include every change shown in Google Ads. Earlier history depends on what Adnertia has already captured or what you import. See Google’s ChangeEvent documentation.
Add older changes
Choose Import older changes
Open the action in the Change Log and confirm the client account.
Use the requested export
Follow the supported file and column guidance in the import screen. Keep the original dates, account details, and changed values.
Review before importing
Check the account, date range, row counts, duplicate warnings, and any missing information. Correct mismatched dates or accounts before continuing.
Check the resulting coverage
Review the accepted rows and errors. An imported file fills only the history it contains.
Who made a change?
Adnertia shows the user or source supplied by Google Ads or the import. Some changes identify a script, rule, or platform automation. An API source does not always identify the exact tool or AI agent. Missing source information should stay unknown.
